Conceptually a subset of a scorecard, it focuses on communicating complex performance information quickly. Just like an automobile dashboard, it has meters and gauges that represent underlying information. They translate data from disparate systems into visually rich presentations using gauges, maps and charts, to show multiple results together. Dashboards provide a single version of the truth, the data is flexible enough to drill down or switch views if needed, and the data is always available. |
